My family came up this weekend and I had the best time. We just hung out and laughed a lot. We went yard saleing and shopping. Well......we girls went shopping. Mattchoo stayed at home with Andy and Carter. He said the only reason he came in the first place was so Andy wouldn't be affected by the Estrogen Fest! Ha! Saturday night we had a tornado warning and it was so funny watching everybody prepare for the worst. We were all scared we would have to go to the basement with Matt because he had just ate a sack full of Whitecastles. SHOOO!!!!!!That could have killed us before a tornado would have! Carter was sad to see them go as were we and cried his little eyes out when they left. Mama wanted to take Carter home with her but couldn't because no one could watch him on Monday. I was glad because I'm not ready for him to be away that long without me. And if you know my mama, she would have taken him no matter what I said if someone could've watched him! I can't wait till they come back or I get to go down. I miss you all horrible and can't wait to see you again.

Carter got his new puppy this weekend. I am Pleased to introduce Mr. Doodlebug Happy Smith. You may be wondering were we got his name. When I first told Carter he was getting a new puppy and asked him what his name would be, he said Happy. Well, when I asked him again, he said Doodlebug. Seeing as it is so much cuter when Carter says Doodlebug that's what we went with. I did fell bad though because we got the dog from my sis Kim and she had been calling it Happy for about 2 months so he would know his name. The poor thing is so confused it doesn't know what to do when you say his name. He is really good so far and we love him already. Carter is still learning to be easy with him but all in all it's going pretty well. Doodlebug hasn't even used the bathroom in the house which I'm very happy about. Maybe it won't be as hard to potty train him as I thought it would be. Now if I could only train Carter.........

Well, the 40 sale is finally over! Thank goodness. It about killed me! NO, I'm just kidding. The truth is I really had a great time. Shannon and the trips came out everyday and helped and it was nice to have them around. Shannon helped me keep my sanity and the kids were great for Carter to play with. They would play in the yard and if they got hot we'd let them in the house to play with the toys and watch TV. Carter and Jasper had a few scraps. I think Carter was a little gun shy of him by the end of the week.HA! Miss Issy had a pretty nasty fall off the steps and scratched up her beautiful face but I think it will heal nicely with out any scars. Thank God! I don't think I could live with myself if she hurt herself that bad on my watch! Mr. Jonah pretty much kept to himself all week. The loner of the group, but I think he had a great time none the less. I just love those kids! I have observed in the past that Shannon's kids don't eat. I have heard of this phenomena but have never really seen it because Carter eats from the time he gets up till his head hits the pillow. Well, I'm pleased to say that the triplets eat pretty good while they were here. Issy and Jasper eat salad and spaghetti with meat sauce which Shan says that don't usually. I don't know why that makes me so happy, it must be the southerner in me. It's how us Kentuckians show our love! There was one really funny incident this week when the Chewing Gum Thieves attacked. Shannon and I were on the porch chatting when We realized that it had gotten really quite. When there are 4 kids involved you know that's a bad thing. Shannon went inside to check on them and started laughing. The kids had found a full pack of gum and were sitting in the corner shoveling it in as if they had never eaten. Their little mouths were crammed full! They were also hiding the evidence, the gum wrappers, in the corner so they wouldn't get caught. It was so funny. Those kids are a blast. I had a great time this year and can't wait till next year. Even if I don't have a sale I'm going to make Shannon come out everyday for a week!

Still Fat!!!!!

Andy , Carter and I went out to eat tonight. You know, of course, we had to cheat. You don't go out to eat something good. We went for the old favorite, Mexican. If you know us you know our place, El Chile Poblano. We were quickly seated as they are very speedy. We were taken to this small room off to the side that we had never been seated in before. NO one was in there and we thought "Cool, all alone" There were 4 booths in the room and we noticed when we sat down that the seats were really far from the table. I tried pulling it closer but when I did that Andy couldn't reach the table. We didn't think anything of it and eat our food happily. Until.........They bring someone else into eat in our section. They were huge. I mean huge! They fit perfect in the widely spaced booths. Then I put 2 and 2 together. They sat us in the fat section! I know you think I'm exaggerating but I'm not. The restaurant had plenty of empty seats out front because I was facing that way and could see. At least 8 or 9. We were there for an hour and no big party came in. And it wasn't because of Carter either because half the other dinners had children. Can you believe it!? Me and Andy? Between us we have lost over 100 lbs and to be quite honest I thought I was starting to look pretty hot if I do say so myself. I know one thing, if I had half a mind , I'd never set foot in there again. I've never been so embarrassed in my life. But then again, where will I get my Mexican for cheat night...............

To my beloved BFF, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!! I know you probably have a fun day planned. Full of new experiences and daring adventures. LoL! Just try not to kill Nate or the kids, bypass the laundry for the day and try and take a long hot bath. I wish I was loaded so we could go on a massive shopping spree and I could take you to a fabulous dinner in New York or somewhere equally awesome. Work today was a blast! It was a beautiful day and the kids and I decided it was a good idea to go to the park. Well......the kids informed me it was a good day to go to the park! We had the best time and they were super awesome. On our way to the park we stopped at the store and had our picture taken. You can tell they could have cared less. In the picture, Carter and Erin are both chanting "PARK! PARK!PARK!" So off we went to the park. I make Carter and Erin hold hands that way I don't lose on of them. It is so cute! They just walk ahead of me and they talk each others ear off. I have no idea what they're talking about but I'm sure Carter is teaching her things she shouldn't know! We finally get to the park and off they went. Sliding, swinging, marry-go-rounding, tag and dirt playing commenced. Poor Alex, with his broken leg , didn't get to run around and do all the fun stuff but we had taken some toys , so he sat in the grass and played trains and dinosaurs. The best part about it was that when we left they were all tired and happy, which makes my job a lot easier! All in all, we had the best time and I'm so glad it's finally Summer!

I think I died.........

Well, I finally bit the bullet and started working out. I absolutely hate it and I never look forward to doing it. I am just not built to be an athlete. To much up top and to weak on the bottom! HA! I do have to say I have been impressed with myself though. I've been running and that's a big deal for me. If you know me you know I don't even run if a bear is chasing me. I'd just lie down and let him eat me. The farthest I've ran so far is 1.25 miles. I KNOW! Who knew I could do such a thing! However, I should have probably started out a little slower because since the 1.25 miles I've been so sore. If I knew it would hurt this bad I would have considered staying fat. But since I've already started I guess I'll keep it up.The funniest part about the whole thing is that when I'm done running, I just pass out on the porch. I bet the neighbors just sit and wait for the fat girl to do her daily walk/run so they can get a good laugh! HA! Andy took some pics so enjoy. I think they're pretty hilarious. My favorite one is the one where Carter is leaning over me to make sure I"m still alive! HA!

Finally!

I finally got a new card uploader so I can do my blog again. I know some of you have had withdraws and I apologize. I know it must have been hard to live without my clever and hilarious stories!

Carter has really been trying to use the big boy potty lately. Ever time I turn around he's naked. The only bad part about it is he keeps peeing and pooping in the floor. That's right, I said pooping in the floor. I've tried being patient and supportive but anyone who knows me knows I am not to good at patient and supportive! I was good in the beginning but as we go along the more frustrated I become. Ever time I have to clean up pee I start to twitch. I say "It's OK buddy, Mama knows it was a accident. Next time we need to go to the potty." But inside I'm screaming " STOP PEEING IN THE FLOOR OR I"M GOING TO KILL YOU!" HA! ( Just for legal purposes I have to say I would not really kill my son.) If you're a mama you'll understand my , what seems to be, insanity, LOL

The best part about this whole thing is seeing Carter in his big boy undies. It is hilarious and he thinks he's so big. He struts around saying " Look, I big" It cracks me up. I took these pics the other day. He's playing me a song and singing while rocking his undies and baseball cap. Which by the way, he goes no where without. I think it may be his security blanket.

Hi Everybody! Sorry I haven't updated in a while but I have had some major puter problems. ( That's my computer not my you know what!) It crashed the other day and we had to buy a new one. I asked the guy that sold it to me if I could pay him with one of my kidneys because it would probably be easier to heal from surgery than it's going to be to pay for this thing. Also when I bought it I didn't realize that it didn't have a port for my camera card. So I go to manually plug in my camera and can't find the blasted cord. So now I have to buy one of those. Stupid technology. All I want to do is show off my funny pics and make fun of myself but I guess you'll have to wait for that till I can hook for enough money to buy the cord. Ha! Keep checking in for some pretty funny pics of my fat ass trying to run and Carter in his ball cap and underwear. You won't want to miss it! I miss you all and hope I get to see everyone really soon. Now that I have to become a "Working Girl" to pay for the computer my schedule will be very busy so drop me a line anytime or come see me on the corner of Maple and Main.Ha!

I have a job!

Well, it is official, I have a new job! Some friends of Andy and I, Jason and Heather Groce, have asked me to sit with their kids. Their names are Erin,4, and Alex,almost 2. They are the best kids, so well behaved and polite. They just play all day and keep to themselves. Carter loves going over there and playing already. And I love being able to take him with me. It is really good for Carter to be around other kids. Maybe he will start to understand the meaning of sharing!
